PATÉS ZUBIA has been located in Eskoriatza, Gipuzkoa, since
1982. This town borders on the three Basque Provinces, in
the north of the country, where it enjoys a privileged natural
environment.
Its founder, Jose Luis Zubia, was born here. After acquiring
the necessary skills under the tutelage of the very best skilled
French artisans, he returned to Eskoriatza, back to his roots.
He initially started producing the first pâtés on a small scale,
as part of the family’s butchery. Nowadays, PATÉS ZUBIA has
established itself as a company producing a high quality product;
the result of a job well done and the balance achieved
between research conducted and the respect shown for the
raw material, looking to the future with confidence.
In 1990 the next generation of the family came onboard to
join the team. Since then, Joseba Zubia has been working in
partnership with his father. He is learning from and with him,
in order to preserve his legacy and to continue the tradition
while establishing his own criteria and personal contribution. |  |
